RELEASING RITUAL
🔥 RELEASING RITUAL

Our belongings, like relationships, are infused with purpose and intention.

Clutter can be a reminder of the many ways our possessions have supported and enriched our lives, fostering a deeper emotional connection and appreciation for their roles. This emotional bond can be a powerful motivator for letting go of items that no longer serve us, allowing us to move forward with gratitude and freedom.

By expressing appreciation for our belongings, we create an environment in which they can evolve and return to us when the time is right.

As we learn to understand and embrace the relationship between ourselves and our possessions, we can more easily release the items that no longer serve us, making room for new experiences and personal growth.

AFFIRMATION
🪄 AFFIRMATIONS

I am grateful for the abundance I have.

I appreciate the service my possessions have provided.

I release what no longer serves me.

I share joy by giving to others.

I make space for greater possibilities.

No matter how exhausted you are after a long day’s work, your home is there to refresh and heal you. Your home accepts you just as you are.

Keeping our house clean and clutter-free is an opportunity to express appreciation to our home for all it does for us.

Today, thank your house for giving you shelter. Thank your bed for the comfort it brings. Thank your plants and anything else that you interact with in your house throughout the day so that when we commence with The Great Purge (in 2 days), we can do it with gratitude from the perspective of what would make our house happy. This will make the decision-making process much easier when it comes time to let go of the things that are no longer serving us in our home.

Take 30 seconds to express gratitude for your house right now.

Only by letting go of items, one by one, can you truly face your past, and begin to create your future.

Letting go of things can make you feel guilty or sentimental. You may be feeling too attached to the past. It's time to move on. So, when something doesn't spark joy, give it a proper send-off. Express your gratitude, and say goodbye.

JOURNAL PROMPT
✍🏼 JOURNAL PROMPT

Make a list in your journal of some things you're grateful to have.

Reviewing your gratitude list, circle the things that still serve to spark joy in your life today, and cross out the things that no longer serve you.

As you engage with this practice, take notice of any patterns or related traits that those things that spark joy in your life have in common.
